Steven is a member of Archway’s advisory board. He is formerly the Chief Executive Office of Gold Reef Resorts Limited, one of the largest gaming and leisure companies in South Africa. Steven was part of the small executive team that launched GRR in 1998 and was soon appointed CEO. Under Steven’s leadership Gold Reef developed seven world class gaming properties, grew into a substantial organization and created significant wealth for all it’s stakeholders. Gold Reef now employs in excess of 3000 people. Steven has been at the forefront of many large and complex corporate transactions for Gold Reef including the consolidation of its operating partner's shareholding and Black Economic Empowerment transactions. Most recently lead the team that negotiated the merger of Gold Reef and Tsogo that has created the largest gaming and hotel operation on the African continent.
Prior to joining Gold Reef, Steven was an executive at Ozz Limited and audit manager at Grant Thornton Kessel Feinstein.
Steven is a registered Chartered Accountant (South Africa) having completed his Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Accountancy and a higher diploma in company law at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

Ben is principal and member of Archway's advisory board.
Ben has extensive experience in strategic and investment management including new strategy development, investment research and capital raising. In conjunction with his role at Archway, Ben currently serves as Managing Director, Strategy and Investments at Kellner Capital.
Prior to Archway and Kellner, Ben served as a Vice President and principal at Uhuru Capital Management, a fund of hedge funds. Before transitioning to investment management, Ben worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch, where his work focused on Native American government and Alaska Native Corporations and their various economic entities.
Ben holds a B.S. with Honors from the University of Oklahoma and is an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma.

Paul is a senior analyst at Archway. He has more than 10 years experience in Investment Banking both in the US and South Africa. Prior to Archway he was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co, Inc in New York and South Africa.
At Merrill Lynch in New York, Paul played a key role in the teams that provided coverage banking to high profile public gaming and leisure companies such as Wynn Resorts, Kerzner International and Interval International and to a number of tribal gaming entities. Most recently, Paul was instrumental in raising $195 million to finance the completion of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s new casino in Tulsa during one of the most difficult credit markets in history.
Paul's exposure to emerging markets M&A is substantial. Based in South Africa, Paul obtained extensive experience by working on a wide range of deals in multiple industries. Significant transactions included advising the Public Investment Corporation on it’s acquisition of a 20% interest in ACSA, Merrill Lynch and Cisco on their black economic empowerment deals, the largest South African retail bank, Absa, on the potential acquisition of Barclays Bank's Africa assets (spanning 9 countries), and playing a key role in advising mobile telephone operator MTN in considering the multi-billion dollar mergers with Hutch Essar and Bharti.
Paul established his skills at the executive level working as General Manager - Finance of New Africa Publications, a large publishing house based in Johannesburg, where he was a member of the executive committee and sat on the boards of various group companies.
Paul is a registered Chartered Accountant (South Africa) having completed his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg where he attained awards for the highest marks in his class. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Registered Representative under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
He started his career as a fund accountant at Beacon Fund Administrators, where he was part of a team responsible for administrating various off-shore equity funds, based in the US, Israel and Switzerland. In 2007, Ramon joined Circin Capital, a private equity boutique firm based in Cape Town, as Investment Manager. During his tenure at Circin, Ramon played an integral part in the successful completion of various Black Economic Empowerment private equity and listing transactions, involving Mvelaphanda Holdings (Pty)Ltd. These included the successful listings of Total Client Services Ltd and Moneyweb Holdings Ltd on the Johannesburg alternative exchange ("ALT-X").
Ramon studied Financial Management at the University of Stellenbosch, before completing his Honours degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio.
